The place where river Indus and river Kabul mingle together to give a beautiful view, is situated on the border of Punjab and NWFP renaming Khyber Pukhtunkwa. This is the spot, where Attock (Punjab) ends and Khair abad Kund (NWFP renaming Khyber Pukhtunkwa) begins. Khairabad kund is a small town, located on the border of Punjab and NWFP. It is the location, where two rivers join together. one is River Indus and other is River Kabul. Peshawar Development Authority has developed a Wild Life Park, which is situated inside the Kund Park. This is a very good step towards the preservation of wild species in northwest. A brief history of Shahbaz Gari: Shahbaz gari is a beautiful place, which is situated between Mardan and Swabi. This place was supposed to be an important meeting place for almost all types of travelers to stay around into serenity and to enjoy the beauty of Shahbaz gari. It is situated near River Indus. Travelers from different places used to stay here on this spot in old times. This is called as the “REST PLACE FOR TIRED TRAVELLERS”.
