Kallar kahar is situated about 200km from Mardan. Kallar Kahar is a beautiful valley though its not like other northern valleys of Pakistan like Nathiagali, Thandyani etc yet it has a beauty in its own and its a small valley that is surrounded by small hills. It is a pictureseque valley that have a beautiful lake. It is about two and a half hours drive from Mardan on Motorway. Passing by this route on the motorway while i was visiting Lahore few months back i wanted to stay at Kallar Kahar but because of time constraint i couldnt stay but i had a plan to visit with my family to kallar kahar at spring season, as the beautiful valley views have attracted me towrad itself while i was passing by the road. Kallar Kahar is a beautiful place and it is situated in Chakwal District in Panjab Pakistan. I heard about this place and seen some documentary program on tv many times but i never get chance to visit there. I was supposing that kallar kahar lake would be far away from Kallar kahar toll plaza but i wondered when i found that kallar kahar tourist spot is situated just near the toll plaza. Kallar Kahar lake looks beautiful in the pictures and lot of tourists do visit here on daily basis. I was there bit early so there was no rush. There are some resturants and a lake view park on this spot. Boating facilities are also available there. I saw that there were lot of mosquitos on the water surface at some places. I wonder what was its reason coz this water is suppose to be coming down from a fresh water spring and then collected here. It also contain some saltyness thats why it is called as salty lake too. Though here does not exist too much salt in the lake water thats why its not danger

I have always been listening about one of the famous shrine in kallar kahar. Mostly in tv documentary programes i have noticed that Kallar Kahar is famous for three spots. One of them is kallar kahar salt lake, second one is Bagh e Safa or Muhgual Garden and the third one is a famous shrine of Abdul Qadir Gillani's two grand sons. Lof of people do visit here to this shrine. I personally found the area very beautiful, calm and serene. Though there was no rush at the time when i visited the area and i was very happy to get to know this and i really enjoyed the location and the beautiful shrine with its panaromic background that i have captured from its terraces. Spring is on its peak. Lot of greenery and colourful flowers around us but one of the beautiful view that have captured my attention recently was one of the Pear Garden. Green trees with white blossoms along with a blue sky and white clouds floating over and i found it more soothing.  The pleasant aura i have found in my way and i did capture that with my camera. They were looking so fresh in a bright sunny day. Pear Trees looks very charming with blossoms during spring seasons. And later on we enjoy the delicious and tasty fruit when the summer begins. When i saw these trees loaded with white flowers i remembered one of my favourite quotation that is,   "When you plant a tree, never plant only one. Plant three.One for Shade, one for fruit, and one for beauty" Here in this garden i have found three in one.
