Gulmit is a famous town in hunza, that comes after karimabad, attabad lake towards Pakistan China border " KhunjerabPass" Here you can find some beautiful views and tourist attractions with in short distance. First of all click here and read my earlier post from Gulmit Town  After getting a basic idea you may search online few more places according to your interest.  For me I visited nearby Ondra Poygah, ruins situated in gulmit. There are many stairs to go up to the site of ondra fort and if you have energy to hike then you must go up and i bet you won't discouraged and might witness some of the amazing views from the top. Finally I accomplished something extraordinary and unusual in terms of travelling. And that was none other than experiencing a trekking to Rakaposhi base camp. I never thought I would ever do a basecamp but somehow I always dreamt of something epic and one day I finally got an opportunity of travelling with TRAVEL GIRLS. The karakoram highway finally connects Pakistan and China. This border is known as "Khunjerab border".  A beautiful travel to the north end of Pakistan up to "Khunjerab border" is one of the most adventurous yet beautiful road journey for me.  This whole journey up to this point made me realize that it's true that  "Some beautiful Paths can't be discovered without getting lost" Erol Ozan.  I visited in Month of May and it was quite snowy and cold there. The time we arrived there, it started snowfall and light storm on the top that makes some how the visit inconvenient and chilled. However the travel up to Pakistan china border was worth visiting. Khunjerab pass is known as the highest paved road international border in the world. I must say it's the most scenic,beautiful and the only peaceful border of Pakistan with it's neighbouring country China. World's highest altitude ATM is also located here on "Khunjerab Border". ...

Hussaini hanging bridge is loacted in upper hunza and considered as one of the dangerous foot bridge in the world. It is dangerous because of the major gaps between between the planks and one have to cross it by foot. It was built during British era for locals and were old narrow but with passage of time repaired enough to carry day to day commodities transferred to neighboring village. Upper Hunza (Gojal Valley) is one of the most scenic area that offers some of the best views of snow capped mountains. It is located on main KKH (Karakoram Highways)  that connects Pakistan to China through "Khunjerab Pass" Pakistan China Border.   Gulmit is about 1 and half hour drive from karimabad, the capital of hunza valley.  and while coming from Karimabad to Gulmit lies a beautiful lake Attabad lake . Here you can enjoy boating at Attabad Lake after passing my Attabad tunnel. You can watch a video here. Gulmit town is the point offering some of the most beautiful peaks. Just 10 minutes drive from here is located passu village, where you might view the most photographed peak known as passu cone and after that comes hussaini hanging bridge that comes in hussaini village .
