Dino valley theme park is one of the recent addition to amusement parks in Pakistan. Located in capital city Islamabad, it is one of the popular place for kids since a couple of years. The park is built on a mountain slope, 7km drive onwards from a famous Monal restaurant on same Pir Sohawa road. Technically it is situated in Haripur jurisdiction.  Almost 25km from capital city Islamabad on same Pir Sohawa road. TICKET DETAILS TIL DATE : They offers different deals time to time. The time I visited there, they were charging 200 pkr entry fee. Apart from that there is separate entry fee to Dino Walk area. Majority of the Dinosaurs are put on display in that specific area, for which adults are charged 800 pkr till date and kid 400pkr. Road trips are one of the best way for me to refresh. I never take it as a boring long journey but for me it's always a source of great pleasure once done with a proper planning. Whenever you properly plan any trip with interesting layovers then obviously you will enjoy it to the utmost. You can go there in evening with family and have nice food. Apart from that they have luxury glamping and pods that you can stay at night as well. I will recommend it definitely as a day trip with kids' and family. Also a good option to stay at night while on a longer route from Lahore etc. towards Galliat and Kashmir. We all know about camping, where we do stay during our trekking closer to nature. But recently we got another such term way more luxurious and glamourous that's been called as "GLAMPING". So it's a glamorous camping or luxurious camping and a wonderful way to enjoy what nature offers along with luxury of a hotel room. Sometimes we only want to enjoy the nature and old whispering trees from the comfort of our bed in cozy setting. Here I find such cozy place.

Folk festival give such a nice glimpse of overall Pakistan's traditional and cultural heritage, visitors do enjoy the handicrafts. Pavillion of all provinces including Gilgit baltistan, Hunza and Azad Jammu Kashmir are presenting in a vibrant way, where the local craftsmen put their handicrafts on display. You can find the part 1 of festival by clicking here.  Artisan from all provinces, who are considered expert in their individual handicrafts showcased their work here in one place.  Lok mela usually attracts a large no. of visitors on sunday as majority of people join such leisure activities on weekends. No doubt it's popular in capital city but due to covid 19 it wasn't much crowded. Timings are flexible from (am till 10 pm. So people may visit according to their convenience without making any crowd.
