Image
Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it. Yes it's 100% true. Even I myself try to explore every possibility out there. I heard a lot about Shigar valley, especially the centuries old shigar fort, world's highest cold desert, askole ( the last village before K2) but finally I got chance to explore all these places. If you interested to have a look at the video of shigar valley, Click this link to my video on my youtube channel. Being a lover of history I love visiting museums, forts, castles wherever I go. Shigar fort were also of great attraction for me. Though it's being operated by serena hotels and is using as a museum hotel for night stay. But I preferred to visit a day and explore it's old architecture and the fort.  Forts and castles always attract me for it make me feel disconnected for a while from present and send me somewhere in past. I feel the history by touching its walls, by climbing stairs and looki...

Annually this 10 days long festival is held in Islamabad by "National Institute of folk and traditional heritage", (Lok Virsa) at Shakarparian. It's a kind of  folk festival that's truly depicting the colourful picture of Pakistan's heritage, art and crafts along with folk music and traditional cuisine. Here i shared about the event in two parts. Second half can be clicked here Visitors welcome this festival every year but this year it's kind of unusual due to pandemic. This year despite of current ongoing second spell of covid 19, still it's management offered the festivities of folk festival from 6th to 15th of november with strictly following SOP's and at the same time they made it possible to promote local traditional items at very reasonable prices. We should definitely appreciate their efforts to manage all and giving people a safe opportunity to enjoy cultural entertainment.     Multani blue Tiles designs on ceramics  Last but not the least my ...

THINGS TO DO IN ABU DHABI

Image
There is not so much to do in Abu Dhabi in comparison to Dubai but it's more greener and peaceful as the capital city of UAE and mostly suited to the residential and king palace.  Al Ain is further situated about 2 and half hour drive away from Abu Dhabi is bit more greener and with beautiful views. But the liveliness and warmth that can be felt in Dubai can't be found in Abu Dhabi. So I must suggests for travelers and tourist to visit Dubai first then Abu Dhabi. Here don't miss the famous dates markets where you can get very tasty dates chocolates.
