Balakot is one of the famous mountain cities in Mansehra District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It is a stopover while on way to the northern areas in Pakistan. However I stayed here overnight and explored a bit. This is one of the places I have been to in my childhood multiple times and having many memories. A beautiful city alongside river kunhar, a bit simple yet a lot of restaurants available at roadside along river kunhar. We choose to stay at a resort I will share the pictures in this post. It was such a wonderful experience of visiting a tea garden in Mansehra, Pakistan.  National tea and high value crops research institute (NTHRI),  is located in Shinkiari Mansehra and it's the first and the largest project of tea in Pakistan.  Basically it's a research center with a beautiful tea garden, however visitors are allowed. I must suggest that this beautiful, scenic garden must be visited by every tourist or at least by those who have some interest in plantation. This tea garden reminds me a visit to a  Tea garden in Cameron highland in Malaysia .  I missed one thing at Mansehra tea garden, is that they didn't made any effort for the provision of daily visits to tea factory and providing fresh tea to the visitors to taste. I asked the guard on the gate and he had a few packets of green tea that I brought. Though I wanted black tea and wanted to taste it on the spot but there was no such arrangement for visitors. Usually I don't review books but some how recently I have been through a book "THE SECRET" by RHONDA BYRNE.  It's basically revolves around the philosophy of "Law of attraction".  We all knows that Law of attraction suggests that like attracts like means if you will think positive then chances are more likely to attract positivity in your life and same vice versa. Now the real question comes amid that " Is this law of attraction" concept is true? Well the answer is "there is no scientific evidence of it.  But still we all believe in our spheres of lives that there is an energy around us, POSITIVE & NEGATIVE.  Sometimes we start thinking negatively and it impacts our mind and body. No doubt Shimla hill is still one of the oldest hill range and tourist spot, located in Abbottabad. Today i am here almost after 13 years of gap and i find it has improved a lot with a proper paved tracks for visitors and other decorated stuff like wooden benches, shades and terraces. A small trek takes you to the point where you can get the panoramic view of Abbottabad city and this place has my heart and many childhood memories because it used to be one of the most visited places that i have been to dozens of times with family. I have grown up here and after so many years it has remind me about those old good days. I can share here a link and it's clearly visible the difference between how it was before and now. Beating the summer heat at thandiani top!!! ??? Well wait wait ! ✋  Did you read that but it's not 100% true.  Well who knows Thandiani better then me. I have lived my childhood there. I used to visit this hill top every time we would like to beat the heat down town. Yes it was cold a decade and twice ago but somehow the situation has changed now due to global warming. You will definitely get some 2 to 3 degree temperature drop here now but don't expect more then this until and unless it's raining and cloudy. In day time it's almost around 30 to 32 degree in summers here on top.  I travelled here after long time. It's been almost 10 years recently I have visited here and let me share my experience. Though this place has still same greenery and the tall trees on way drive towards to top that's a treat to eyes but once you come out to hike in day time under sun then it's bit difficult to handle.
