MESMERIZING ATTABAD LAKE, HUNZA.

Attabad lake has definitely mesmerizing views that filled magic in the surroundings too and it's located some midway between karimabad and gulmit . It's so peaceful with turquoise colored water. Sometimes it shades reflects striking blue colour but whatever so it always looks magical. This beautiful lake didn't exist before 2010 and it came into being as a result of deadly landslide. HUSSAINI HANGING BRIDGE, HUNZA. ONE OF THE DANGEROUS SUSPENSION BRIDGE.

Hussaini hanging bridge is loacted in upper hunza and considered as one of the dangerous foot bridge in the world. It is dangerous because of the major gaps between between the planks and one have to cross it by foot. It was built during British era for locals and were old narrow but with passage of time repaired enough to carry day to day commodities transferred to neighboring village. EXPLORING GOJAL VALLEY, GULMIT, UPPER HUNZA.

Upper Hunza (Gojal Valley) is one of the most scenic area that offers some of the best views of snow capped mountains. It is located on main KKH (Karakoram Highways)  that connects Pakistan to China through "Khunjerab Pass" Pakistan China Border.   Gulmit is about 1 and half hour drive from karimabad, the capital of hunza valley.  and while coming from Karimabad to Gulmit lies a beautiful lake Attabad lake . Here you can enjoy boating at Attabad Lake after passing my Attabad tunnel. You can watch a video here. Gulmit town is the point offering some of the most beautiful peaks. Just 10 minutes drive from here is located passu village, where you might view the most photographed peak known as passu cone and after that comes hussaini hanging bridge that comes in hussaini village . Travel back in time. Baltit Fort in Hunza Valley

I always get fascinated by old forts and castles and the stories associated with them and Baltit fort is no exception. It has same charm and mystery that's most of the forts have. It's interesting to read and hear the stories of Kings,emperors, queens, prince, princess but to witness such forts and places is such a nice experience for me as i can imagine those olden times grandeur. So here i am going to explore this grandeur of the past now converted into a heritage museum located in main karimabad the capital of hunza valley. Baltit fort was the residence of Hunza rulers locally called them as "Mir's" and is 700 years old fort influenced by tibetan architecture and colours.
