Exploring the land of peaks "Hunza Valley" , A fairytale land.
While travelling through the winding roads of Karakoram highways (once used to be called as "Silk Route" in ancient times) the more and more you cover the distance the more you will be getting nearer towards the land of peaks and finally reaching to this fairytale land surrounded by majestic snow capped mountains. Every twist and turn on the road will ultimately leads you to the land of Shangrila, believed to be inspired from a famous novel "Shangri. La"in 1933 by british novelist James Hilton.
Finally we reached "Karimabad" the capital of Hunza Valley and stayed at "Hunza Darbar Hotel"located in the heart of Karimabad. After a long tiresome journey in the rugged mountains this place felt like heaven, both picturesque and comfortable. In such far off place "Hunza darbar hotel" is one of the bestest that offers their guests all the amenities. Thanks to Shehryar Khan (Owner of Hunza Darbar Hotel) and his staff for hearty hospitality and making our hunza trip as memorable one. An adventure and luxury among the wild rugged mountains. Our next to visit was Baltit fort located in karimabad. You can watch the video here
