Balakot is one of the famous mountain cities in Mansehra District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It is a stopover while on way to the northern areas in Pakistan. However I stayed here overnight and explored a bit. This is one of the places I have been to in my childhood multiple times and having many memories. A beautiful city alongside river kunhar, a bit simple yet a lot of restaurants available at roadside along river kunhar. We choose to stay at a resort I will share the pictures in this post. Very easily accessible and located on main balakot kaghan road and that is Cordillera  resort.  Access :  Balakot is easily accessible via main mansehra kaghan road as well via hazara motorway. Babusar pass is one of the beautiful mountain pass in Asia and highest point in Kaghan Valley, Pakistan that can be crossed in vehicles through a well carpeted road. It located mid way from Naran towards Gilgit baltistan and hunza. It connects to Karakoram Highways near Chilas. Saiful Malook lake is located near naran valley and accessible via rough jeep ride. I Won't Recommend to the people who don't feel comfortable with bumpy jumpy jeep rides or with some backbone issues. Personally I didn't like the ride however it is one of the most visited lake in Pakistan and very famous among tourist. I felt awkward to see the crowd of people and not so well managed and lack of cleanliness ruining natural beauty.  Saiful Malook lake is considered as one of the most mesmerizing lake in the world that has left many travelers speechless. Naran is one of the most popular tourist destination in Pakistan. It is located in upper Kaghan Valley, district Mansehra, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This whole route has multiple amazing scenic tourist places including  (1):   Sharan Forest camping and glamping.
