One's destination is never a place but a new way of seeing things.

Takht bhai is my ancestral village and is located about 15 km from Mardan city. I love being here in the village and especially for eating Chapli Kabab. This place is famous for Buddhist monastery, an archeological site, situated on the top of a hillock , about 2km from takht bhai main bazar. Visiting there after many years i was shocked to see the road bad condition, Mardan Malakand road near Takht bhai. Some flyover bridge was left unconstructed and there was lot of mess all around, much traffic and disturbance. Finally i reached on hillock of buddhist monastery, though it's still looking ok but high school boys were playing there jumping on those Stupas :(  Here are some pictures from my recent visit to Takht e Bhai Buddhist Monastery. In the end i was also shocked to eat these tasteless Chapli Kabab at double price as compared to that of Mardan and Peshawar regions :(

It was a pleasure trip back to my home land on the way to land of hospitality my Kpk. It was fun as well feel nostalgic while passing by all those places. Here i clicked some pictures on the road  towards my destination.  M2 motorway connect Lahore with Islamabad and then eventually M1 linking them with Peshawar, Swabi and Mardan.

Lamb roast and barbecue is always very delicious especially to enjoy it in winters. The meat of a sheep in first year is called Lamb. It is more tender in comparison to sheep, cooked in different ways. I personally like the barbecue roasted as well cooked in big frying pan locally called as "Karahi" Meat from Lamb is usually prominent in Mediterranean cuisines. Greece, Turkey, Middle East, Afghanistan etc, famous food almost in all over the world cooked with different recipes. Lamb meat is always considered as one of the healthiest food because it is an excellent source of high quality protein as well an ideal source of Iron, So here i am going to share about the Khyber lamb tika and barbecue in peshawar city of Pakistan.
