SARASWATI TEMPLE UBUD

Ubud Royal palace and saraswati temple are located nearly on same road to ubud market. So it is always a win win situation ✌ to explore briefly all the three spots while on one day tour to Ubud. Apart from that i had one more favorite place to go and that is "Campuhan ridge walk" in ubud. I was supposed to do this but due to time constraint i couldn't make it possible. However if someone else staying in ubud for 2 or more nights at least should never miss this scenic walk in middle of very calm and beautiful hill.  As i have mentioned in earlier post about Ubud sightseeing the best way to explore Ubud fully you need a private customized tour.


 Bali is known for its ancient temples as well. So here we start with one of the famous one among all other temples that is specifically located in center bali Ubud is known as Saraswati temple. In the middle of the city this Balinese hindu temple has a beautiful lotus pond. As its name tells it is dedicated to hindu goddess saraswati (goddess of learning, literature and art). No doubt it is very artistic and beautiful temple with such a wonderful grandeur. I personally liked its classic engraved pillars and the background that looks amazing from the ancient  ages.

Shrine of Abdul Qadir Gillani's grand sons in Kallar Kahar

I have always been listening about one of the famous shrine in kallar kahar. Mostly in tv documentary programes i have noticed that Kallar Kahar is famous for three spots. One of them is kallar kahar salt lake, second one is Bagh e Safa or Muhgual Garden and the third one is a famous shrine of Abdul Qadir Gillani's two grand sons. Lof of people do visit here to this shrine. I personally found the area very beautiful, calm and serene. Though there was no rush at the time when i visited the area and i was very happy to get to know this and i really enjoyed the location and the beautiful shrine with its panaromic background that i have captured from its terraces. Rawal Dam.....with a lake in and a Park around, in capital Islamabad " A beautiful combination of water and gardens"

Rawal Dam was constructed in 1962. It is situated in the National Capital Islamabad, Pakistan. Basically it is an artificial reservior of water and is a great source of water supply to Rawalpindi and Islamabad, the twin cities of Pakistan. This reservior of water is called Rawal Lake and is spread over an area of 8.8km sqaure. It is suppose to be that "Korang River" along with some small streams coming down from the Margala Hills collect together to form this lake. This lake not only provide water to the twin cities but it also help in irrigation. On both sides of the Rawal Lake two parks have been constructed. Confluence of River Indus and River Kabul:

The place where river Indus and river Kabul mingle together to give a beautiful view, is situated on the border of Punjab and NWFP renaming Khyber Pukhtunkwa. This is the spot, where Attock (Punjab) ends and Khair abad Kund (NWFP renaming Khyber Pukhtunkwa) begins. Khair abad Kund is a small town, where the Peshawar Development Authority has established a beautiful park.  Attock fort can be seen from the bridge over the Kabul and Indus rivers. Pakistan Monument Museum in Islamabad is a must visit place, that is situated in front of Pakistan Monument. Here one can get the whole info. related to Pakistan since the independence. Though lot of shops all around in the province but some places are more famous like Peshawar, mardan, charsadda and Takht bhai.
