GLORY OF HAGIA SOFIA

One of another great architecture in beautiful and mesmerizing Istanbul is HAGIA SOFIA that stands in front of stunning Blue Mosque. It's famous because Once a church, then a mosque and now a museum and that's why it makes a truly extraordinary place probably nowhere found in the world and none other than this place. It was so fascinating to see both Islamic and Christian architecture in one place. That's truly charming and spiritual.

HAGIA SOFIA reminds me some scenes of Dan Brown's novel "INFERNO" where the story ends. Not only this but also hippodrome, spice bazar in grand bazar and galata bridge also included in this novel.  Though my trip was not inspired from that novel yet exploring Istanbul historic landmarks realize me that i am following footsteps of professor Robert Langdon, hero of Dan Brown's novel "Inferno". Actually Dan Brown is probably the famous novelist who is known for his books influence many of his readers to visit personally around those places shown in the story because all the places in his books are real and doesn't depicts any fairy tale land story. However some of aspects are definitely fictional because after all it's a novel.

Never miss balcony views by going upstairs because it gives a closer look at upper structure and design.
