FIVE REASONS TO VISIT KASHMIR .TOUR DE AZAD KASHMIR. PAKISTAN.

It's always fun in having a journey for pleasure in which different places are being visited, whether it's by air or through a long road journey. For me it's not only fun but it's a kind of learning process which takes me out of my comfort zone and I explore new places and people. Usually it takes me hours to make for myself a perfect itinerary. Recently I have got an opportunity to travel to Azad Kashmir Bagh District, Pakistan. If you check the map of Azad Kashmir, you will find that it's accessible from different routes via Islamabad/Murree Expressway Kohala, Mangla, Kahuta, Abbottabad & Balakot, etc.

We chose via first route and that was Islamabad/Murree Expressway and our destination was Ganga Choti via Dhirkot. We stayed there in Diyar resort. However we took a break at TDCP Hill top resort on Murree Expressway.

HERE ARE FIVE MAIN REASONS TO VISIT KASHMIR.

(1): The lush green meadows filled with wild flowers surrounded by mountains. There are many such spots depend on exactly the weather and season you choose to travel. Flowers blooms especially in August. However you may find them on any meadows.

(2): Multiple gorgeous Trekking points.

(3): Diyar/Chinar Jungle trekking options. It's very easy to get into in jungle there and find yourself lost under the beautiful trees. I personally choose a private jungle located inside our resort.

(4): Local Culture.

(5): Cool Climate.

Dhirkot is a town, located in Bagh District, Azad Kashmir. Mostly travelers and tourists do visit Neelum Valley of Azad Kashmir. Dhirkot, Sudhan gali, Ganga Peak etc. are less explored areas located in Bagh. I find there were local tourists on Ganga Peak mostly who had visited locally from nearby areas. However I would suggest to visit these places because roads are good and it took us almost 3 hours drive to Dhirkot/Diyar Resort. Ganga Peak is further located approximately 2 hours drive from Dhirkot.

So let's start with our first stopover at Dhirkot. DIYAR RESORT.👇

Diyar Resort is kind of hidden Jem. They have all fine facilities and security system. Situated on roadside this resort has a private jungle, huts and rooms. You can choose according to your preference.

There are few more tourist destinations that you can visit further from here.

1. Ganga Peak at elevation of 12,057 ft , located at 2 hours drive in bagh district.

2. Pir Chinasi at elevation of 9,500 ft , located at Muzaffarabad, 2 hours drive.

3. Lasdana at elevation of 7,913 ft, located in bagh district about 1 1/2 hour drive.

4. Neela Butt is at height of 6,600 ft . A view point located at only 10 min drive.
