ACROPOLIS OF PERGAMON , ACKLEPION , AN ANCIENT GREEK AND ROMAN HEALING TEMPLE.
There are plenty of ruins scattered around Turkey. The Acropolis of pergamum is one of them, named after the Acropolis in Athens. From canakkale we travelled along the beautiful coastline of mediterrean turkey and finally reached to one of this impressive archaeological site.
This ancient site located on the top of the hill, where visitors can access through cable car. The video is here These ruins on the top of the hill has such a lovely panorama and so scenic. I personally loved this place on the top of the hill.
The small market at the bottom of the hill near cable cars has many souvenirs shops. The local shopkeeper are so nice and among them one gave to me a Good luck charm as a first customer and one gifted me a beautiful bracelet but unfortunately i forget to take a picture with them 😐
Another site is Acklepion, an ancient Greek and Roman healing temple also nearby..and House of Virgin Mary is also located nearby.
