EPHESUS, RUINS OF THE ANCIENT CITY.

One of the most visited site in Turkey . Earlier it was ancient Greek city later becomes Roman empire's city and now becomes a great archeological site. I didn't knew that Ephesus was once a Greek city and that in past Greek empire was extended as far as which is present day Turkey. Ephesus is located in Selcuk which is part of Izmir province.
Ephesus included gladiator theater , Celsius library, Roman terraces house, Hadrians temple. Near Aegean sea these are the scattered ruins.

Kusadasi and Ephesus are one of the popular mediterranean spot.

Celsius Library
I enjoyed walking around these ruins , touched the ancient bricks wall and feel the history.

I found that Celsius library has a secret. This library has one of the most beautiful structure in whole Ephesus. Apparently it used to be a library but this library has a secret tunnel from where men used to go brothels and baths situated on other side of road.
